TAKREER Oil Refining Company-Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company (TAKREER) was established in 1999 to take over the responsibilities of refining operations from Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). This covers the crude oil and condensate refining, supply of petroleum products and production of granulated sulphur. Takreers main objective is to develop the refining industry in the UAE which started with the inauguration of Abu Dhabi Refinery. TAKREER is considered a prominent oil refining company regionally and internationally contributing to oil markets and to the rapid growth of UAE economy.

Project Description
KGC was awarded the contract of manufacturing pressure vessels by one of the OEM Contractor based in Singapore, providing Gas Scrubber package for a "Carbon Black and Delayed Coker Project" (CBDC) being built in Takreer's chemical refining complex in Ruwais-Abu Dhabi. The main EPC contractor for the CBDC Plant is the south korean construction firm Samsung Engineering. All vessel were manufactured in Stainless Steel which included Cyclone Separators, Seal Pots, Venturi Scrubbers, Piping. The equipments were designed and manufactured as per ASME Sec VIII Div I. KGC scope of supply also included Valves, Demisters, Expansion Bellows, Stainless Steel Flexible Hoses and Graphite filler Components. Painting was carried out as per Samsung Engineer Project Painting Specifications in adherence with NACE standards.
