Güssing Renewables Energy Thailand together with key partners in Thailand, Siam Cement Group, Metro Machinery Co., Ltd., Bangkok Industrial Gas Co., Ltd., Cofely (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Nongbua Green Power Co., Ltd. are is putting up the first GRE-Dual Fluidized Bed Gasification Power Plant in Thailand. The plant will be located north of the country’s capital Bangkok in the province of Nakhon Sawan. The GRE DFB gasification systems is the world’s first functioning FICFB (Fast Internally Circulating Fluidized Bed) plant. The core of the plant is formed by the two inter-connected fluidized bed systems of the fluidized bed steam gasifier (reactor).

Project Description
KGC was awarded the contract of manufacturing critical components of the GRE-Dual Fluidized Bed Gasification system, which included the Gassifier , Combustion Chamber , Cyclones and Inter Connecting Ducts. Upon manufacturing of components, a mock assembly of all components was done to ensure systematical erection and assembly of components on site. The activity involved fabrication of structural's, erected on civil Foundations designed and constructed to withstand actual load conditions.
